Victory Venkatesh’s new project ‘Bodyguard’ has been launched today (4 April, 2011) at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad on the occasion of Ugadi. Noted producer Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the film on Sai Ganesh Productions (P) Ltd Banner in the direction of Gopichand Malineni.

The film began on the hands of Dr Rama Naidu. Directors Boyapathi Srinu, Dasarath and Nandini handed over the script to film director Gopichand Malineni. Rama Naidu clapped for the first scene that was canned on Venkatesh and Trisha, VVVinayak directed the first shot while Srinu Vytla switched on the camera.

Trisha is playing the female lead in the film. This is for the third time that Venkatesh and Trisha are getting together.

‘Bodyguard’ is said to be a romantic comedy entertainer. It is the remake of super hit Malayalam flick ‘Bodyguard’ written and directed by Siddique. It has been remade into Tamil as ‘Kaavalan’ with Vijay and Asin. It is also being remade into Hindi as ‘My Love Story’ with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
