‘Komaram Puli’, which recently received a promotional stint due to its freak title, is now all set to hit the theaters in 3rd week of August. This movie in a way seems to be a film with certain moral standards where eliminating the evils of the society is shown in a different form. With the present information on the movie, the story goes like this. Pawan Kalyan hails from a family that is disturbed by the goons in the surrounding. Pawan’s family looses certain members in a fight and his own birth has been shown in a very dramatic way leading to his name as ‘Puli’ with sir name ‘Komaram’. Well! He grows up to become a commando marrying a cop and taking the revenge on the villain. The role really throws challenges to Pawan Kalyan who is expected to give an action packed performance in this film which is further glorified by the contribution from the greats like AR Rahman, Binod Pradhan, SJ Suryah, Anand Sai and not to say the new face Nikeesha Patel. Nikeesha Patel is incidentally from Gujarat but brought up in London. SJ Suryah earlier gave a hit (Khushi) through Pawan which was a super duper success. Now with this 2nd movie he has aimed at the same results and hence convinced producer Singanamala Ramesh of Kanakaratna Movies for their best contribution. So the Kanakaratna Movies banner is now going to release two big films in a very short gap. One being ‘Komaram Puli’ and the other is Mahesh’s ‘Khaleja’. As the music release has already taken place with a few songs receiving wide applause, a point of highlight here is a song on Pawan Kalyan himself. Pawan Kalyan infact mentioned it in the audio release function as a gift for his fans by SJ Suryah and AR Rahman. It is important to say a few words on Binod Pradhan. He is the one who has permanently placed his mark on movies like ‘1942 A Love Story’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Rang De Basanthi’, ‘Mission Kashmir’ and ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’. Such a renowned personality is taking care of cinematography in this film. Interestingly art director Anand Sai started his film career with Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Tholi Prema’ which was a super duper hit. This apart he worked for many top heroes films including two more Pawan’s hits, ‘Thammudu’ and ‘Khushi’ also. The combination SJ Suryah, Pawan Kalyan and AR Rahman can be expected to provide a good result. The subject being closer to todays happenings (violence) the people expect a different kind of approach in avoiding the incidences as well as solving the problems. Hope SJ Suryah with his imaginary limits has dealt upon the theme and given some message through this film. AR Rahman’s contribution is already acknowledged by the audience which can be a motivating factor to hit the theaters
